picture of Inghram Branch The Dorothy Inghram Branch Library has been located on the west side of San Bernardino at 1505 W. Highland Avenue since 1977. The Branch is named for Miss Dorothy Inghram, local pioneer, educator, civic leader, community activist, volunteer, and author. Miss Inghram, at 102, is still a very active member of her church, community, and the Friends of the Inghram Library.

The Inghram Branch Library has a collection of approximately 15,000 titles, including a large number of books of interest to the Black community. The video collection has over 800 titles available for checkout, and the Branch also has books in Spanish for both adults and juveniles.

There are eight public use computers, all with Internet access, word processing, and learning games for children.

The Inghram Branch offers story time at 10:30 a.m. each Thursday morning.
