Marion (King) Keir was born on January 22, 1813 at Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland. She married Alexander Keir in 1838 in Scotland and they traveled to New Orleans in November 1848 and from there they traveled to Pittsburgh, PA. They left there in 1850 and traveled to St. Louis, MO and from there in 1853 they arrived in San Bernardino, CA. She died in San Bernardino on March 27, 1904.
