May Day Event 1939
From an article in the "San Bernardino Sun" April 30, 1939:

"Pioneers Hold May Day Event
a picnic dinner was followed by an elaborate program at their afternoon meeting in the Log Cabin in Pioneer Park. The program included music by Hugo's Hillbilly Band and solos by Concho Reyes; a tap dance by Jack and Bob Rife; a reading by Mrs. Georgia Stewart; and an accordian number by Laura Clark."
