San Bernardino Public Library

Emma Smith (Tanner) Swarthout was born June 1, 1831 in Kirtland, OH. She married Nathan Swarthout on August 25, 1851 at Sycamore Grove near San Bernardino, CA. Emma died on February 21, 1917 and is buried at the San Bernardino Pioneer Cemetery.
