Oliver M. Wozencraft was born on July 26, 1814 in Ohio. He got his degree from St. Joseph's College in Kentucky and became a doctor. In 1849 he came to San Francisco and was appointed as a US Indian Agent. Wozencraft came to San Bernardino in the 1860s. He died on November 22, 1887, in Washington D.C. and is buried at the San Bernardino Pioneer Cemetery.
