Wilford Alley Boren
Boren was born on October 24, 1848 at Council Bluffs, IA and came to San Bernardino in 1854. He started a grocery business in 1885 until 1896. For the next two years he was a miner and in 1898 he was elected treasurer of San Bernardino County for one term. Boren died on December 7, 1926 and is buried in Pioneer Cemetery.
